When I use the Mail Recipient (for Review) command, I want to send the file as an attachment only.
When you send a file for review, a link is automatically included if the file is stored in a shared location. However, you are also prompted to include an attachment for users who may not have access to the shared location.
If you prefer to send the file only as an attachment, you can delete the link to the file from the e-mail message and only send the attachment.
When I send a review request, I want to send a link to a file.
A link will be included in the review request only if the file is in a shared location. In this case, the link is created automatically. If your review request does not include a link, make sure your file is located on a Web or network server. If you want to create a shared location for the file at the time you send the file for review, use the Attachment Options task pane.
I'm not sure if the e-mail program I have will allow me to send a review request.
You can send files using the Mail Recipient (for Review) command if your e-mail program is one of the following: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express, Microsoft Exchange, or any 32-bit e-mail program compatible with the Messaging Application Programming Interface (MAPI).
